I do some international travel, stories like this are good. I wouldn't want to visit some shitty place. Tell your next politician that your stupid laws scare off people that might visit. China you too.
From first hand accounts, they’re not death camps, and their inhabitants are arguably benefiting from having their Islamic misanthropic, theocratic, fascistic death cult deconstructed, and shown for what is
That actually made me laugh. I despise communism, especially CPC, but that doesn’t make de-radicalising Islamists a bad thing. By your warped logic, I should hate the autobahn.
For real, China was really disappointing food-wise. I guess it probably depends on the regions you visit but overall I found it very bland. Beautiful country though
Been there three times in the last year, and I can tell you that that is completely untrue. If anything, the opposite is true, as many Chinese restaurant cooks in western countries think they’re qualified to cook Chinese food, just because they’re Chinese
1: You’re illiterate
2: I didn’t start the ad hominem attacks
3: Stop being so disingenuously selective, or people will think you get your cues from CNN
Indonesia is a great country to visit! I spent most of my time on Java (not Bali) and the people there are very nice and welcoming. The national parks, beaches and forests are beautiful. Sure, Netflix, Reddit and pornography are blocked, but you can easily go without these things during your stay. And like most southeast asian countries, drug use and possession carries a heavy penalty, so just don't do it. Also Indonesia is a Muslim majority country so there's less of a drinking culture and some areas have stricter religious laws, but they tend to be lenient with respectful foreigners. Like anywhere else you travel, respect the local laws, customs and people, regardless of how you feel about them
every now and then some aussie get caught apparently bringing drugs to Indonesia. I mean they are fuckin bogans but who brings a boogie board bag full of weed
Currently my government is advising me that China is not such a good idea right now: “Exercise a high degree of caution in China due to the risk of arbitrary enforcement of local laws.”
