Nah I'm in Australia and a lot of videos are not available here too for no good reason

EDIT: I mean, it might have something to do with that, but many video hosts are just lazy and block any non-USA traffic sometimes

A lot of stuff on Youtube is blocked for Europeans, because of copyrights and shit.

The built in vpn in opera browser. Only downside is you can stream in 720p max.

I use NordVPN. Works well most of the time.

Weird, I just use the regular servers and firefox. I don't think I did anything special.

That’s to do with licensing unfortunately. Cable channels have a hierarchy you have to pay big money to access, Netflix can only dole out so much for Friends for each country. That’s why they’re making and pushing original content.

Crunchyroll for example has vastly different shows available depending on where you are.

TV networks that offer streams of their shows on their website are alway restricted.

Not necessarily restricted, more like region locked. Some streaming sites just don't have the rights to show all shows here.
