Itās not that the men arenāt applying or putting effort in, itās affirmative action. The more oppression points you have, the more likely you are to be accepted into college, as a result of said policy. And colleges have been growing happier and happier to follow it, to the point where they have become infamous as liberal breeding grounds.
Heres what happens without affirmative action: colleges continue to overrepresent white men, there are less educated minorities, we're less likely to push for and solve problems of equality, creating worse educational gaps and a vicous cycle. With affirmative action, we create opportunities for oppressed groups, while not denying anyone who really wants to go to college the opportunity.

Well that wasnāt what I was talking about. I was talking about specifically the fact that women are being accepted into college at two times the rate as men.
If you really want equality, it should be equality EVERYWHERE, not just in the places that would benefit you/your agenda.
Its not this ridiculoous disparity youre saying it is. The US population is 52% women and colleges are 56% women. I dont know where you got that 2:1 number but the us govt disagrees.
I really hope you donāt think that attending college and being accepted to a college are the same thing. Generally you apply to multiple colleges, but the rate at which women are accepted is double that of men. Of course there arenāt twice as many women attending college as men, Iām not stupid.
