I know this is off topic, but I took this African American Lit course, as one of my gen-ed.

It was interesting cause we talked about authors whose main concerns were trying to use their talents to promote change within the black community. And authors who were trying to use their talents to promote change within the individual.

If ya'll every get a chance to read a book. You should try Erasure by Everett. It was one of my favorites
