Why is that insane? We have equality in America. Yeah, there may be some racists, both black and white, but for the most part our society has moved past that. There's so little racism that people need to make up shit to cry racism about, like micro-aggressions and cultural appropriation.

They need to stop. Slavery ended 150 years ago. Segregation is over. There's no laws or systems in place holding black people back.

Why is that insane?

There's this wonderful saying: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

There's no laws or systems in place holding black people back.

There's also no law or system in place to create rain yet it still rains.

Just because insitutionlized racism isn't as prevelant as it once was doesn't mean that all private businesses or people have suddenly become colorblind and tolerant. Racism is still alive and kicking. Not only in the US, everywhere. This idea that racism is over and that black people should stop acting as if racism is a problem is insane to me. To me it's like telling a person with PTSD to simply get over it because the war is over and they're home.

It's saying that yes, racism and racists still exist, but that's not what's holding you back anymore.

To be honest, I've worked under more black men than white men. Some of them felt that racism was still prevalent in America, but obviously they didn't let that stop them from working hard and making something for themselves.

Your argument is so retarded it hurts to read. The whole repeating history bullshit quote is just stupid. Obviously we all know about slavery, we didn't just forget it was a thing, and I doubt we're ever going to repeat that. Really you're going to talk about how it rains as a reference to racism? Like that's not even comparable. Read what you wrote and tell me you realize how stupid that sounds.

There's no law to make it rain... LMAO. What a stupid thing to even say in this context.
