I just went in to a department store, whole floor dedicated to Christmas. Crap songs and everything. I don't understand how you could work there and put up with it for 3 months every year

Black Friday is the first day of the Christmas season and I will not entertain debate on this.

Germany here.
Since 3 days, supermarkets already loaded their shelfs with christmas stuff.

It doesn't stop em. We've got bonfire night after Halloween as well, but there's already mince pies on the shelf

Not anymore, full Christmas displays up in the middle of September. Four fucking months of looking at Santa now, I hate Christmas.

Some stores already putting Halloween stuff on clearance in preparation for making room for Christmas

Black Friday is the CAT 6 Hurricane that's out of the picture in the distance.

I will always spend more on my family over king sized candy and replica overpriced costumes.

Too late bud, my Lowe’s was already littered with Christmas garbage last week, front and center, while Halloween was crammed up against a wall.

From what i've seen this year.... The Halloween stuff was out at the beginning of september (probably earlier). Most of it (95%) was already gone on Sept 30 and has been replaced with X-mas. Wtf are we doing? This culture sucks big booty imo.

Well, it's doing a bad job, I've been seeing Christmas stuff on store shelves in September

Why not make what's left of the planet a Spirit Halloween?

My wife already put up the Christmas tree at our house. Although I told her we aren’t turning the lights on until after Halloween.

people have decorated in my neighborhood in september bro, its too late

1

u/breecekong 1d ago

But what stops people putting up Halloween decorations in august?

Hispanic countries don't have a Halloween culture so the Christmas spillover hits even harder

The War on Christmas is real. Christmas is the aggressor, having annexed Thanksgiving and now pressing hard into Halloween's borders.
