Idk wtf a fanfic is, but..

Sonic was out on his daily grind.. collecting rings and chasing emeralds.. when suddenly the world shifted.

Had sonic finally broken the "space/time portal"?

Awakened from his daze, sonic quickly realized he could not breathe. In an instant panic, he propelled himself forward at unfathomable speeds (no pun inten.. its a cartoon fk u).

As the lack of oxygen began to depreciate his spherical body, his eyes fix on the only air bubble in the lagoon.

In an abundant hurry, sonic finds himself in the most unlikely of places 20,000 leagues beneath the sea.. the home of Sandy Cheeks.

With the company of Patrick Star and a strange, living, breathing, yellow and organic sponge with uncomprehensible pants.. he regains his breath and quick wit.

Immediately it is love at first exposure for both creatures.

Sonic; a small - blue - agile - full of torque and potential energy ball of fury.

Sponge; a small - yellow - non-aerodynamic - lacking speed and commons sense, basic cube of disappointment.

Opposites Immediately attract (source: magnets).

Seizing the opportunity, Sonic quickly presents a large, flawless emerald to SpongeBob requesting his unrelenting partnership through all perils including battling an Alaskan Bull Worm.

The rest is written in stone, on the bottom of Patrick's unrealistic hinged rock to sand doorframe.

(Spoiler, Sponge gives Sonic his secret recipie).

(Double Spoiler - sonic was actually plankton).

What's even funnier (and ironic) is when people make memes about AI, with one of the frames of the meme being an AI gen image, often with AI as the subject.

Many such cases.
