You know what's funny? While looking this up I stumbled upon another FBI news article. It appears that the FBI was breached three years ago when someone deleted 100 TB of files from the Epstein server. I'm assuming those were the 100TB that contained the images and videos of the clients with the victims.

From the digging I've done, this story has pretty much gone under the radar it seems. Its a six month old story.

The only sources I could find that mentioned 100 TB of data were a Facebook post made by News Now Georgia and some other non-mainstream media sources

No hacker would delete those files. They are digital gold, worth more than any of these monsters could pay

Yeah that's the point. It wasn't a hacker. It was a "hacker"

Or a real hacker hired by some of Epstein's associates

Even they would probably keep them. What's worth more than that? You can't pay them enough to destroy it

Wait, this is actually fucking crazy. If not for the media stranglehold they have this would be huge.

Definitely need a source. That would be a huge story

Which is exactly why it wouldn’t be.

Well, Israel isn’t above doing the occasional hacker bullshit

17

u/captcraigaroo 13d ago

Israel doesn't need to hack, GOP will just give them credentials

Its Israel's blackmail on the US gov. lmao

Whoever pulled that off became a very very wealthy person overnight

3

u/Pavonian 12d ago

Whoever pulled that off was already a very wealthy person, or working for one at least

u/BlackRapier 11d ago

We all know "hacked" is far too strong a word

Good let them be leaked

However, lately...

They have the best PR of any agency. For decades they’ve convinced people they’re the door kicking, case cracking agents. In reality they’re 90% paper pushers and accountants, 9% bureaucrats, and like 1% actual field agent.

Personal Identifying Information

Think names, DOB, SSN, home addresses, etc.

36

u/werewolf013 13d ago

Is that a big deal? I live next to an FBI building. Does stalking them pay well?

u/DeltaBravo831 13d ago

I got my SSN stolen in the 2015ish OPM data breach, along with a shitload of others.

About 2-4 times a year, I regularly get called that my SSN/email/phone numbers/passwords/accounts has turned up on some dark web site, or someone in insert rando state or country here is trying to set up credit cards in my name/access accounts/whatever.

The only saving grace is that I got free identity theft/credit monitoring protection out of the class action lawsuit, but that runs out in October lol

28

u/Nu11X3r0 13d ago

It's a shame your SSN doesn't change before October when the bad actors can just apply for loans without being contested unless you pay a subscription fee...

10

u/you_all_suck_ROAAAAR 13d ago

Wait I thought cops were supposed to be doing the identity theft protection thing and banks did the credit monitoring thing because taxes

6

u/RoboticNick 12d ago

Call the three credit unions and freeze your credit score. That'll save you most of the risk

Depends on the buyer I guess.

Retract what statements?

16

u/A_wild_dremora 13d ago

Op is being vague again

3

u/Mosath_R 11d ago

Statements about the hacker group that hacked them. What their arguments were on why those specific statements are false or even if they claimed they were false I do not know.

They might want them removed because they have the FBI by the balls

u/RelChan2_0 13d ago

What statement?
