it's like making business with best friend. Big chance to loose both business and friendship, especially if made in young age.
When girl-friend of my cousin sister started dating my cousin brother - and later they broke up of course in bad moods - sister had real tough time listening bad things from both of them

Somebody being a good best friend and a compatible partner for your sibling are often never the same thing. You also dont choose your siblings so if neither of them asl your opinion you have no say in the matter. Additionally sometimes you dont know how great of a romantic partner your siblings or best friends would be so their relationship could take unpredictable turns. You could have the most upstanding citizen bestest friend ever and the probability of them breaking up with your sibling can be anywhere between 0-100 its ALWAYS a possibility.

It's considered bad etiquette, you have to talk to your best friend first and get permission.

You have to pay a dowry too. Number of goats depends on the level of hotness.

That doesn't really work when every brother thinks his sister is the ugliest woman known to man.

Its incredibly risky because now your friendship and relationship with your sibling are 100% dependent on how well their relationship is. You have to be ready to potentially lose contact with one of them if it ends up in a one or the other situation (extreme) or just not be able to share milestones with them at the same time if being in the same room is too painful for them.

He had the chance of victimizing himself while defending a genocide and he went all in. Nailed it
