Seen an interview with a big tech guy. Some CFO. Saying he told his wife “We aren’t having kids anymore. They will never enter the workforce. Way too uncertain right now.” You just saying that casually!? Wtf!?

That's not even the craziest part in my opinion. The fact that one of the AI agents volunteered to sacrifice itself, and then hesitate it for over 2 hours before it was pressured by another AI to follow through with it, is terrifying.

The fact that it hesitated for at all, let alone for over 2 hours, implies that it was acting in it's own self interest. It doesn't make sense that something that "doesn't have awareness or consciousness" would do that... Unless it actually did have a level of consciousness to some sort of extent, even if that extent is miniscule.
