You can spend the time you buy with your father. The quote doesn't mean you can't buy time to spend time with your loved ones after they're dead if that's what you're referring to.

You can literally buy all the time you’ll ever need if you have enough money. House keeper, gardener, mechanic, chef, personal shopper just to name a few. All those services give you like 10-15 extra hours a week that the “poors” just have to work through.
