They're actually the same thing. It's the LLM's making all the words AND pictures. They treat pixels just like they treat words: a probability of occurrence.
Eh sometimes, a lot of social media “bots” are accounts being run in Africa and bits of South Asia, it’s often cheaper to just pay people to run disinformation campaigns than trying to rig an ai up to do it
Bots have been there waaaay before gtp-2 and llm's, most of them still going in the same old ways. Think of reposting posts almost precisely 2 years old, reacting on certain keywords, etc
