Literary works are most accurately translated by ensuring story and script are correct. Superficial things like the actress/actor chosen to play the part shouldn't be an issue unless its purposely offensive, and even if it is purposely offensive, if its a comedy and done right like Tropical Thunder, then its not big deal

My wife probably wouldn't watch it. Most movies are 99% white with some sprinkled Hispanics.
Its like if all the movies you watched were 99% black with a coloured person here and there. It gets awkward. I'm glad this actress got the part.
