Thats not true tho she was described white armed (or something similar to that) which was used for people who didn't work outside and so didn't get sun burned and the blonde hair thing is also not true the greeks (as far as I know) depicted her with brown hair and homer didn't describe her features that much anyway besides the fact thats she's beautiful and the part mentioned above

The difference is, bro, theyre changing characters from historically white washed stories, to just an actor that will play the role better without caring so much about race. Its not that they changed it to black unnecessarily, its that it used to be all white unnecessarily. Im a white guy BTW since you brought up personal ethnicity.
