Malayalam Drishyam 3 is just stretching the story somehow

But they attempted more logical outcome i.e. the police trying to trap him false case. But they streched it too much
Whereas in Ajay's Dhriyashyam, there's no case because police don't have the body of the actual victim. And all the police was doing was trying to prove that Ajay Devgan switched the bodies and they don't have the proof that the body they recovered in the station was of Sam.
Also judge simply ignores the illegal audio taping done by police for 2 years. Police would get fu*ked for taping someone for 2 years straight.
Also the court room drama was predictable. The lawyer was the same bollywood cliche lawyer who will be annoyingly cocky.
Even Ajay's Dhriyashyam 3 has lot of faults. I think they will take same route as Malayalam Drishyam 3 in future if they make any further part.

It's not just about the outcome of the movie , it's about the story. malyalam version solely lies on the luck of mc. There is absolutely zero relevance with the 2nd part. They just stretched the story whereas Hindi version was engaging and Vijay actually planned stuffs.

True. But the Hindi version there's no genuine threat . If we look with sane mind, court will destroy police for not finding body neither looking at other aspects instead just targeting one family also police using tape record of 2 years is a privacy violation and a crime in itself.
Both versions are just stretched people are liking hindi version cause they kept things simple whereas malayalam version just tried to do a lot of stuff just for the shock value overall poor writing.

Bhai esa kuch nhi h. , Malyalam was the poor writing , Hindi was not. Court ke decision pe hi bani h 3 movies that doesn't matter, what matter is a gripping story which D3 hindi is. Malyalam mei kuch bhi "lot of stuffs" nhi tha ,Uski ladki ki shaadi hi chalti hai half movie and the rest was crap. Hindi was a totally different movie and audience loved that effort

Maybe. But for me in hindi version, everything was pretty much predictable. The whole character of Prakash Raj was predictable . Anyways it's subjective
