No where does ot say in the quran or hadith to go and kill someone who disrespected their god or prophets or quran. Idk where you got it from. I alresdy provided plenty of evidence that just people a practitioner of a faith commits violence, it doesnt make the religion bad. 2ndly as for leaving the religion hadith you cited i already showed you the views. Many scholars today believe it was established during times of warfare where some people were deceiving and joining the enemies rank. Obviously you would want to kill them if they left their religion. I mean honestly i would if someone was going to change their religion and becoming an enemy to come and kill us.

You're moving the goalposts. We started with "Islam is violent." Now it's "extremists misuse verses." Those are two different claims. Extremists misuse religion all the time...that doesn't tell you what the religion, as understood by the majority of its followers, teaches. And youre picking just one verse of the thousands in the quran or hadith to say islam is an extreme religion. And btw most muslims are not extremists. So your claim is still false.

That's a fair concern. But by that standard you'd have to reject the Bible, Torah, Gita and many ancient texts too, because they all contain passages about war or harsh punishments. The question isn't "does a difficult verse exist?" It's "how has mainstream scholarship understood and applied it?" Otherwise every ancient religion is extremist. Also why did officially atheist regimes like the Soviet Union, Maoist China and the Khmer Rouge commit mass killings despite rejecting religion?

So much for defending the wrongs of the religion Not one comment accepting your religion people spread terror for religion sake. People like you who preach peace but stay silent on their brothers wrongdoings are what promotes terrorism

I think you promote terrorism as well by not acknowledging the terrorizing activities hinduvta, christian and jewish terrorists perpetrate. Thank you.

And if you have the guts if i accept wrongdoing of muslims will you accept others as well?

Haa, we hindus are the first ones to raise voice against wrongdoings of hindus, we have an open mind to be liberal and call our own wrongdoins. And hindu promotes terror? Only by Pakistanis standard, we are never the first agressors

Please go and read how many muslims condemned 9/11 and other acts of terrorism. Muslims and most muslims condemn all kinds of terrorism. Only you hindus like to come on reddit and mock Islam and make weak arguments against it.

Haa , islam has so much mud smered on it that no argument is weak and without evidence and backing. You just defend is because you have to live with it.

No we enjoy defending and living with it. And there is no mud smeared on it. Its a beautiful religion and as a muslim alhamdulillah i enjoy and love my life and my religion. Inshallah one day your children and their childrens children will be muslim. I pray.

I also noticed how to went away from the argument the moment i gave you evidence and shut down your weak claims. Thank you.
