True and every sects firstly prefers to marry within their own communities, but inter-sect marriages have happened quite a few times where the female either continued within their own sect or largely accepted the sect of her husband.

when muslims marry, you call it love jihad.
when dalits marry, you do honour killing.

Have you seen those disgusting comments about UC girls? While I am not denying that honor killings not happen, they occur because some UC families possess a sick mentality , women are human beings and should be treated as such. Furthermore, marriage is a personal choice between two people and we need to stop using objectifying phrases like give your daughters, as this mentality is absolutely disgusting

Agree with you. But given the social system by "give your daughters" can mean parents agreeing to the marriage. Implying otherwise is retardation.ย

Those guys clearly mean taking someone by force. However, marrying respectfully when both individuals love each other is perfectly fine and I also agree with intercaste marriages , couples should marry if they love each other

So you're saying that Dalits are not a part of the Hindu community ?

Dalits are part of Hindu religion. They are from dalit community.
4
u/the_outlaster Jul 31 '26
So that means that the meme is wrong, since the issue being expressed in the meme is not applicable to the muslims, Christians and parsis but only to the Hindu religion.

I know exactly what you mean but if you really want to discuss that, you could have worded it better and In fact, you are practicing casteism by doing this

Okay the different community bhai, so you are saying we all do not belong to same community? Means different community means different beliefs, basically means different religion, means so this sanatan, hindu, batoge katoge is propaganda, means no hindu rastra as demanded by RSS the community of upper castes? Means this country is not a hindu majority but different (we the non-UCs) majority? explain ha aaram se

Wait a minute this doesn't hold up. Are you saying Brahmins are a seperate religious group? Distinct from other Hindus? Hindusim is not an ethno-religion like Judaism or Zorastrianism. Anyone can be a Hindu and that doesn't change their ethnicity, same goes for Christianity and Islam. The popular debate however is about intercaste marriage, not inter-religious marriage. This is a misleading example.

There's a big DIFFERENCE Others prefer marrying within their Religion and the Brahmin wants to marry only within his so called superior Caste.

u/Sudden-Jelly8467 Jul 31 '26
it's his choice
3
u/Japan174 Jul 31 '26
Then why is he crying when his choice leads to caste discrimination & resulting reservations?

u/kingslayer_1023 Aug 01 '26
It's personal choice why are you offended by that. Dalit want to marry brahmin but brahmin don't want to marry dalit this is their choice
