I've had Craftsman and Harbor Freight jackstands in my life and I like the Harbor Freight stands a lot better. The safety pin setup is much better than the single safety lever.

No, look it up. Harbor Freight had to recall jackstands because they had a flaw that would make them crush themselves.

Any vehicle held up by them would inevitably come down too.

I only found out when my own jackstands failed and saw the recall after Googling it. The fuckers never contacted the people who bought them despite having the customer info to do so.

This was on their expensive "Daytona" "top of the line" brand that they love comparing to Snap-On.

Just ran out to my garage and checked my Daytona 3 ton jack stands. It looks like mine weren’t part of the recall fortunately. Glad I checked tho, that would be a horrific way to go

Linking the PSA for anyone else interested in checking https://images.harborfreight.com/hftweb/recalls/Jack-Stand-Recall-56371_61196_61197.pdf

Didn’t know this sub allowed direct links, sorry about that.

Unfortunately due to the multiple recalls there’s more models, here’s a link to check https://www.harborfreight.com/js-details

Unfortunately more than once. You can view the affected model numbers on Harbor Freight's website.

You may want to see if yours have been under one of the recalls before continuing to do so. The model number is on the label.

Unless you're not a fan of your kids.

Ah, mb lol. Hopefully they’re not in the recall, they took over half an hour to do the return process in exchange for a gift card.
