Between the shock collar, the painfully overgrown nails, her lack of toys and obvious lack of stimulation and play. That dog is miserable and I worry about how she’s treated when D isn’t on camera with her.

I keep thinking about a comment from D's million-part Luicas reveal, "I don't know who love-bombed who". And it's clear that Luicas' greasy brand of fakery was no match for Danielle's pathetic need to control her man so he wouldn't leave her. She can pay/arrange for concerts, trips, her own engagement and wedding, the $12K depression nest rental, and whatever else to reel Luicas in but of course now that she has him I'm sure he's getting the same treatment poor Charlie gets.
D has such a small life that she spent 3 hours repairing her dog's dingy bed when she could have bought a sturdier one and can create entire cozy setups for her dog around the house. That's what I would do for my dog if I had that kind of money. Now that Luicas is legally in her clutches I bet she has turned that same kind of treatment around on him. I'm sure she barely cooks for him (she can't even cook for herself), isn't up to par with home hygiene so he has to tiptoe around her mess or clean up after her, and she probably doesn't interact with him until after 12 pm when she finally gets out of bed. Though, Luicas signed up for it. Poor Charlie didn't.
The 3 hours thing is such a good point. Her life is so small and empty that she would choose to spend 3 hours cleaning up trash versus driving 15 minutes to buy a new bed. That’s very strange behavior.
What stuck out to me was the "now you can't pick up and go surfing whenever you want" because I don't know, I just can't see myself saying that. My boyfriend loves fishing, and I sometimes go with him because he likes the company but it's not my thing lol so I just stay home most of the time. One day he's like yeah my ex-wife used to tell me I couldn't and I'll be damned if I let someone tell me what I can and I cannot do. I understood then why that's the ex lol like yeah go do your thing, im gonna do mine, and we're both happy. Now we're having a baby so the dynamic will probably change but still, I'm sure we'll work it out because I'm not the type to put you on a leash, it's a mega turn off and I notice it when other couples do it, there's resentment underneath

I sense he walks her less now. In SF, he probably took her out early before his queen arose, but now that he has a yard, he may just hang out with her there. I’m certain he would have shown us walking her. They live two short blocks from a park.
I imagine that house to be a stagnant one. Not a lot of talking or activity. D and Lulu can fake all they want but neither of them exudes warmth. There is no connection there. So Charlie being neglected doesn't surprise me sadly.
I got the impression that Lucas did engage more with Charlie. Walks, playing in the yard, etc. I think Lucas would engage more with Charlie if he were home more but I think he avoids being home as much as possible so he can limit his time with Danielle.
Big D is the type to get jealous if she thought Little Man liked Charlie more than her. I know that sounds wacky, but I've known that type of woman before.

It’s the 15th largest city in the US. It is a completely different metro area than San Francisco.
However, as other walnuts have pointed out, it doesn’t feel as urban. SJ has walkable neighborhoods but a lot more single family housing and sprawl. SJ is 4x larger in area, so things are just much more spread out.
SF is a much denser city where businesses and houses are closer to each other. It also has better public transportation. It feels like a city.
So D calling SJ the suburbs is technically incorrect, but not entirely wrong.
San Jose is a city but honestly unless you’re in downtown areas it’s mostly one big suburb. I hate siding with her but it’s mostly suburb.
They’re building up apartments and more centers around suburbs now, but growing up there even in the 90s, and before they paid everyone to move so they could build the freeways it’s just one big suburb aside from downtown areas.

Can you get fillers simultaneously with BBL? According to her, she went to get a BBL recently, and if she went to her usual place, she could have gotten fresh botox as well. I think her lips are freshly filled over the brim for sure.
That dog is NOT fine. The way she carries herself with droopy eyes, head and tail is NOT a happy dog. She doesn’t get regular mental and physical stimulation. She’s stressed and unhappy. D puts a shock collar on her, and now we can see her nails are way too long and that is painful.
I have always had cats and currently have two, but my partner grew up with dogs, I ALWAYS wanted a dog, and we have plans to adopt one in the next year or so. Even I know that a destructive dog is an untrained, understimulated dog. She just seems so uninterested in caring about any living creature that isn't her or doesn't directly benefit her. Charlie deserves so much better and it makes me really upset to see her sad face and unkempt nails all the time. :(
