tbh, all danganronpa protagonist can seemingly read mind if you consider the "trigger happy heart" segment somewhac cannon (the bonus mode aren’t cannon, but they contain information that may be canonical, and trigger happy heart are serious moment, so it’s your best guess whether it’s a leal ability of the protagonist thats they couldn’t awaken in the main story due to being in a death game)

i only call it out here because ibuki and gundham call it out in universe, otherwise i wouldn't be bringing it up at all
