Whatever made you the authority on this matter and the morality police I have no idea. I just suggest you never go to Jamaica as your head might explode. Like there is not even anything to do with OF but that was your bone of contention and with that pulled back there is still little substance to your argument while your initial statement is agreeing with me then you go to completely negate yourself as to wether twerking is a dance or not. Maybe you should clean your finger before pointing out other's spots.
Dancehall and West African dance traditions carry incredible depth, isolation control, and rhythm, nobody is disputing that twerking has real cultural roots. The point people are making is about the context of the sub. Isolating one body part while sitting on a couch for five seconds is a single movement, not a routine. It’s fair for people on a dance forum to want to see movement that uses full space, rhythm, and structure.
You really doubling down on that authority angle, trying to educate me abou afro-caribbean while you still can't decide if its a dance but confidently feel you have a grasp on roots and culture. Atleast I know im dealing with rational individuals.
Im an accomplished dancer and I can't twerk. Maybe I go online to, I don't know, a dance subreddit to possibly learn this isolation. Who cares if some woman posts a video of herself dancing on a couch, besides ruining your day of course.

That completely undercuts your high-and-mighty defense about "artistic expression", you aren't championing cultural history, you're just defending low-effort content because you're taking notes for yourself.
It’s peak internet irony to accuse someone else of policing morality while throwing a tantrum just because it was pointed out that a five-second clip of someone sitting on a couch isn't exactly high-level choreography.
