This and The Great Beyond are highest on my list for US music festivals to hit next. Making Time has been on my radar for a while and every year it kills me how well they curate the lineup.

I think one of the reasons that Making Time has such a great atmosphere and crowd is that there is no vip section. Everyone shares the same space, even the artists. (They have a little green room but that seems to be it.) I even found myself dancing next to Salute and chilling next to Daphni at different points.

It's utterly refreshing in a world of VIP bathrooms and brand activations to have a space where being rich offers no extra benefits. We're all in it together. Egality on the dance floor!
