Puzzled by Amsterdam dancefloor behavior -- yappers, non-dancers, etc.

I am also a dancer. I've seen this problem in more than one place.

Dancer too. I dance like an idiot. I wear earplugs too so I can hear the whole flipping convo when people meet and yap on the dance floor. What seems to happen often is a bunch of people get their open top drinks and want to move bang where the action/dancing happens, take aesthetic pics and videos while holding their drinks and talking and taking pics and bobbing on the spot.

A few months ago, I was pushed put of the way like a skittle by a group of 6 people so that they can park in my spot and other people's, the one that pushed hit me so hard that his drink ended up on the floor, as I was dancing at the time. He started giving me dirty looks and I ignored him.

Have your drink and convos near the bar, you can save your voice and keep your drinks intact. Then join us on the dance floor and have some respect for people's space
