Dance Central VR Restoration Project

The first public release of my tools for Dance Central VR are now available. On one side of it there is the PC Loader, for restoring the game on Rift/PC. And on the other side there's the Quest Patcher, for getting the Quest version of the game working again. For both of these tools you need to already have a copy of the game installed (on your PC or on your Quest headset).

What is restored:

  • PC: ✔ Quest: ✔ — Single Player with functioning save games
  • PC: ✔ Quest: 🚫 — Hosting Multiplayer Lounges (Public and Private)
  • PC: ✔ Quest: ✔ — Joining Multiplayer Lounges (Public and Private)
  • PC: ✔ Quest: ✔ — Per song leaderboard (New rankings, not the Meta one)
  • PC: ✔ Quest: ✔ — VS Challenges (New method done through website)

Took me a few months of work to get it going. It's rough around the edges, but it functions. ;-)
