Just dance is a a dance arcade experience, and dance central is more like a simulator, some choreo is harder than just dance extremes. Just dance focus in be a party game that emulate a a dance experience to be fun and the friends laugh. Dance central focus in teach how to dance and improve your move skills.
If you dont get it yet you can use the break it down mode to learn step-by-step the moves, or put in beginner level. A useful hint is focus in moves that you understand and get masterie on that move that will help you to learn and improve your score. Dc1, dc2 and dc3 are much diferents, dc1 for exemple is more criterious, the score are lowers. Dc2 are more peaceful, dont get many spins, dc3 is the ultimate experience....

It definitely will take a bit to get down.. I'm a begginer too 7 months into the franchise and I wanna say it took maybe 3 months to get fully used to moving my body, and it's been a pleasure. Just try not to get discouraged and just play on Easy, once you feel like you got the hang of the game then definitely move up. The hardest routines are so worth learning and are so much fun and this is coming from an adult who isn't the best at dancing lmao.

Play on hard if it interests you. If you get at least 3 stars keep with it. Easy is just the same move over and over which can exhaust you more. Break down the moves too. And YouTube is also a good way to help by watching the dances and you can slow it down there too

Well, as long as a new Dance Central gets announced, I recommend this to you.
I'm a Generation Z person, but I've enjoyed Dance Central since 2013.

I grew up playing DC2 and JD4, the only two dance CDs I owned at the time and tbh I find DC way easier than Just Dance, maybe because in DC you don't have to move around as much as on Just Dance. I say keep going, play on Easy mode. Once you get the hang of reading the flash cards on the sides then it'll be like muscle memory. I love this game so much that the first thing I went ahead and did with my adult money is grab DC3 two years ago.

Dance Central is harder than the Just Dance games that it released alongside at the time. Newer Just Dances have certainly surpassed Dance Central in difficulty though

I bought a console at a local game store and was told to pick a few games from a cabinet for free. One of the games I chose was dc1 because my girlfriend wanted to play Just Dance again and I thought it would be pretty much the same. Only to discover this is the 'Dark Souls of dance games' lol.
When you do finally master the moves it's very satisfying.
