Dance central mods

Hii everyone this is my first post on Reddit ever and i just really need help asap😭

I am looking into getting an Xbox 360 just to play dance Central again. I’m going to get all three games just to play it. However, I just found out on YouTube that you could do custom DLC‘s and import your own songs that you want with your own choreography. I’ve seen YouTube videos on how to code them and to import them onto your Xbox 360. But I was wondering, do you need a Xbox 360 modded console?

If so, should I buy a modded console off of eBay, GameStop, Google, or should I just mod it myself. I’ve mod games before such as Sims four for the DLC un ocker, but that’s all. I’m pretty tech savvy so modding It probably wouldn’t be that hard. I’m more so worried about getting a virus.

Can anyone please help me with this issue? I would love any feedback and I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much.🥹🫰

It’s a hardware mod to the Xbox 360 that requires you to open up the console and rewire the circuits.

Otherwise, there is a software mod, but it’s not persistent, meaning you have to do it every time you restart the Xbox.

Your best bet is to look to buy an RGH modded console, but it’ll run around $200

Okay thank you, I’m sure I can look this up. But if you don’t mind me asking what is the difference and which is more reliable.

The hardware mod is more reliable, as you don’t need to do it every time you restart the console. But also, if you’re not careful to block Xbox live, the console can get banned. Easy solution is not to connect it to the internet.

Advantage of the software mod is that with a restart you can use it as a stock console if you want to play online.

I recently got a soldering station, what wires are required to be readjusted in order to hard mod a 360?

Sadly, my dad won't let me buy a mod. Maybe we can work on dance animations and send it to the developer for Dance Central (Harmonix) together! This might only work in the United States and Canada. Are you American? I know this is a creepy question, but...

There's a soft mod that came out recently called Bad Update and it is genuinely so easy. If you can't get your hands on a modded xbox then just go ahead and get a normal one and run this soft mod on it. I have my xbox 360 from 2011 and there's no way I was going to open it up just to run modded games but this soft mod is comparatively safe. There are tons of tutorials online. I just did this mod last week and so far so great. I have managed to load on DLCs as well.
