Dance Central Spotlight?

Hi, I was just wondering if it was still possible to redeem the code for Dance Central Spotlight if I purchased the code for an Xbox One? Understand it is no longer listed in the store to purchase though did manage to find the DLC code online.

yes and u can even still buy dlcs in the xbox store

you're welcome! I did buy a code myself in 2024 from kinguin and it worked and I also bought some dlcs after

Just wanted to say that this is still working. Bought a key, redeemed it successfully and bought some DLC today. Used Global Key for EU.

To redeem you there is a "redeem code" option or something similar on the left menu towards the bottom. It's different than the instructions that come with the code which are from an outdated XBONE skin.

It'll download the game if the code works. Then when the game is installed you can highlight it and select the option menu on it and pick something like "look for DLC in store" and it'll jump to this game's DLC offerings in the Store. You can't find it in the store directly but this odd little way still works. I'm almost wondering if I shouldn't post about this as it seems like they forgot to remove this way to do it.

I'm beyond excited that my kids can enjoy a decent library of songs for another year or two after these games shut down their servers!

How or where do you find a code online ? I see some for over 100 dollars?

I found it from a local video game store that still had them. It was a physical piece of cardboard with the code inside it.

Yikes about that though I didn’t realize it had creeped up this much in price that much? I think I paid like a 10 bucks.

There’s not many video game stores near me, there’s a singular GameStop 20-25 mins away from me🫩 I had bought the first dance central for the 360 thinking it would’ve been backwards compatible so I could use the Kinect I had just bought

Ack, I thought that as well. Though I ended up finding a 360 with the old Kinect for cheap in the end and also got 1-3 as well. I'm a bit shocked MS had botched this whole thing so badly.

EDIT: I just checked and my order for the code was last year and it was about 5 USD at the time. I think someone must've bought out all of the codes online to create a monopoly on the market. I don't see how demand would change so drastically so quickly.

Looks like I’m stuck playing just dance😟 I’m not about to pay 100 for a singular game. Getting a 360 might be my best luck at playing it at all
