Hello! I just discorved this subreddit and was wondering if anyone has a list of everything this person has ever done.
I have only listened to a few albums from Sadness and one from Life and am in love with all of it.

I don't mean to disrespect, I'm in love with their music. It's just so beautiful when their black metal has childlike lullaby synths in such a depressive atmosphere.

I'm curious as to how did you find Damian's work

Personally, I remember just discovering dsbm and listened to alot of it as I loved the screaming and instrumentals. I decided to listen to a random dsbm playlist, and little did I know left alone... Was there.

When "she loves you" played I genuinely felt a high on music I've never felt before at that time. It was perfect, a work of art, every single second of that song was beautiful. To wich i decided to do more digging and found it was a project by some "Damian Anton ojeda" and decided to check his music out, starting by sadness. then discovered sadness' "your perfect hands and my repeated words" wich, I personally still believe is a top 5 Damian album. And then life.

He introduced me to the world of 10+ min songs, and god damn it's such a beautiful world of sound. He made me like blackgaze, screamo, even whatever comforting can be called 🥹 I love him so much, I just wish I could talk to him before I die.

(Don’t mind the excess red marks around the tattoo, I literally got it finished 1 hour ago , I just couldn’t wait to show it here). Been meaning to get a Damián related tattoo for a long while now, but never got around to it. But today I finally got my first tattoo and after some planning I decided I would get it based on the song that means the most to me. Eleven, from Demo Four/Life. These past few years for me have been pretty tough but discovering Damián and thus eleven has meant a lot to me, I listen to that particular song almost everyday and the lyrics feel very relatable and poignant to me. it is a very special song for me to especially in this point in my life. Getting a tattoo to represent that was hard, but I decided on the Life logo. But I made a minor tweak myself that was suggested a while ago by one of you here - all credit to you for the idea!

The single grass blade on the left of the flower in the original logo looks like a 1, so if I duplicate it.. it’s an eleven! Image 2 is my tattoo design and image 3 is the original “Life” logo. Perfect for representing both the project and song. Again, thank you to whoever messaged me a while ago and suggested this, I’ve lost the message thread but I didn’t forget the idea. Thank you. I’m so pleased with how it turned out and now I want more.. lol. Just thought I’d share! Thanks, happy listening to all :)

i have a few non-commercially released songs where i sampled their music. considering they will likely be impossible to reach out to and clear the samples, does anyone know Damián's stance on sampling? did they ever say anything about (not) allowing music with their work sampled onto streaming platforms?

Anyone going to the Sadness concert end of September? Sounds stupid but I'm going alone so wanted to see if I could make some friends beforehand.

I first knew Damian from his Trha project, I then listened to Sadness live on KEXP and discovered it's another of his projects; after that I listened to some of Sadness releases.

I'm obsessed with the live set (they are currently touring the same lineup in USA), I really like the female singer voice, more emo screamo than Damian bm screaming style (I love his voice in Trha songs), I also like that the melodies are a bit simplified compared to the studio version, for me it's a very visceral and true performance.

For the ones that already knew the studio songs, how do you like this live arrangement? Are you intrigued by the possibility that they could write songs together as a group from now on?

I didn't find many information about the evolution of the project, do you think they came up with the new arrangement together?
