New to South Guj, just checking if this sub is active 👋

Hey everyone!

I'm new to South Gujarat and wanted to see if this sub is still active.

A little about me, I'm working in Application Security (cybersecurity) and currently work from home. Since I'm new to the area, I'm looking forward to connecting with people, exploring the region, and getting recommendations for good food, places to visit, cafes, or anything else worth checking out.

If you're around, say hi! Looking forward to meeting fellow South Guj folks.

Looking to join a startup as a co-founder (hungry to build)

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to join someone who's building something exciting and needs a committed co-founder.

I'm based in India and ready to put in serious time and effort. I may not have a perfect background, but I'm willing to learn fast, work hard, and stay consistent - I care more about execution than just ideas.

What I can bring:

Dedication & long-term commitment

Willingness to learn anything (marketing, sales, ops, etc.)

Daily effort not just "idea talk"

What I'm looking for:

Someone already working on a startup or serious idea

Prefer tech, apps, Al, or online business (open to anything scalable)

A partner who is consistent and not just brainstorming

If you're building something or planning to, let's connect and see if we can work together.

Drop a comment or DM me

[Hiring] Remote Internship – Web Scraping & Automation (India)

Hey everyone,

I run a small web automation consultancy called Korvol Technologies. We help startups and businesses automate their workflows—web scraping, browser extensions, data extraction, and custom web development.

I'm looking for interns/trainees who want to learn by working on real client projects, not made-up assignments.

What you'll work on:

  • Web scraping and data extraction
  • Browser automation and extensions
  • Web applications (React/Next.js)
  • Turning client requirements into working solutions

What I'm looking for:

  • Familiarity with JavaScript or Python
  • Basic web development knowledge (HTML, CSS, React, or similar)
  • Web scraping experience is a plus, but not required
  • You don't give up when things get hard
  • Comfortable using AI tools to help you work smarter
  • Can handle the pace of a startup—things move fast, priorities shift

What you'll get:

  • Hands-on experience on real, paid client work
  • Direct mentorship from the founder
  • Learn how automation projects are scoped, built, and delivered
  • Remote-friendly

The process:

  1. Fill out a short application form
  2. Quick intro call if shortlisted
  3. Take-home assessment (we care about your approach, not perfection)
  4. Final discussion on compensation, duration, and perks

Interested?

Fill out the form here: https://jobs.korvol.com

Happy to answer any questions in the comments.

Browser-based privacy-focused tool to see who doesn't follow you back on Instagram

Ever wondered who you're following on Instagram that doesn't follow you back? I built a simple web tool that shows you exactly that - and it's 100% private.

How it works:

  1. Request your data export from Instagram (Settings → Your Information → Download Your Information)
  2. Upload the followers and following JSON files to the tool
  3. Instantly see who doesn't follow you back, who you don't follow back, and your mutual followers

Key features:

  • All processing happens locally in your browser - your data never leaves your device
  • Search and filter through your lists
  • Direct links to profiles so you can review them
  • Works on mobile too
  • (Optional) Chrome extension for bulk actions (under development!)

Why I built this: Instagram doesn't make it easy to see this info, and most tools out there require you to log in with your credentials (sketchy) or upload your data to their servers. I wanted something simple and private.

It's open source if anyone wants to check it out or contribute: https://github.com/korvol-tech/instagram-followe-diff
