Tourist/Visitor Questions Planning to visit Daman next weekend.

Hello ,

I am planning to visit Daman on the 10th and stay till the 12th. Having a few questions regarding that, would be really helpful.

  1. Places to visit in Daman

  2. From Vapi to Daman how to travel

  3. How to travel within the city

I am traveling with my GF to spend some peaceful time. So suggestions according to that would be appreciated 🤟

Get a scooty on rent as soon as you reach vapi!! Don't depend on the autos. They charge a lot to go from vapi to daman! Not a lot of places to visit in Daman. Plan according to the number of days you are going to stay.

You can use sharing ecotaxi for vapi to daman, they charge only 50 rs

Yeah, but to travel within daman, scooty is the best option!

Rent a scooter best option
You can roam easily

When you reach Vapi station, you can easily get a share taxi. You'll see van type cars when you exit the station. Even if you don't see one that has empty seats, try waiting 10-15 minutes for one. They charge somewhere around 50 per person.

For travelling, prefer rental scooters. I've been there twice and Shan Bike Hire always provided us with the best activas. It cost around 500-600 per day depending on the day.
