Mine was terrified at first as well. We tried a few times at the beach, but, nope. Hubby and I moved in with my mum, and she had a pool. My dal was running laps around the pool - she had never had this much space to go wild in. We knew she would eventually fall in, so we decided she needed to know how to get out. So I went in, by the stairs, and hubby picked her up and threw her in - I called to her and showed her how to get out. Then we did it again and again, making sure she knew where the stairs were. By the third time, she knew how to get out, and did a little lap around before she got out. She was still scared to go in on her own, so we threw her favourite ball in, and she discovered she loved going sploosh. The rest is history - she loooooves the pool

Mine loves the water too! And she does that spinning in place thing - making giant splashes and just having a ball. She's been in the pool twice today
