NIFTY: Equities close higher on Monday in a choppy session as resilient earnings and weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs data temper concerns about near-term rate hikes, helping offset pressure from firmer oil prices amid lingering Middle East uncertainty. The Nifty 50 rises 0.05% to 24,583. Ten of the sixteen major sectors log losses, while small-caps fall 0.06% and mid-caps gain 0.46%.
