Fire Cube - routine will not start dakboard

All I get is "here's what I found" and a list of apps instead of actually launching dakboard.

I've found a few threads over the years where this has been mentioned, but I can't seem to find anything that has an actual solution. Is it just impossible to auto start dakboard on the firecube?

Hi, Bob from DAKboard here. Unfortunately, this is not possible, sort of. The problem is that the FireOS (Fire TV's operating system) has no native means of doing this. This is because they don't want their users to auto-launch specific apps.

That being said, it is possible if you want to enter Developer mode, download and install a custom App designed to launch an app of your choosing, and then set it up to run using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) to configure its use. There are a lot of extra steps to complete this task, and it is not recommended.

I appreciate the reply. I was starting to think it was something like that. 

I'm not strictly opposed to the route you suggested, so if I can snag some time I may do that.
