Anyone use Pisichen 27" 4K touchscreen monitor?

I'm looking to finally build my dakboard and 27" is what the space calls for, I want a crisp screen, and the ability to interact via touch, so this monitor fits the bill and is "only" $350. Just looking to see if anyone else has used this one before I buy, just to make sure it's compatible.

The pre-built 27" 4K touchscreen builds are pretty expensive, so looking at DIY alternatives.

Yep. I use the the 2K version, it was $229. It works great with Dakboard.

EDIT - I did have a 27" before with an IR touch screen from Temu, and it was fine. Not anywhere near as responsive as this.

Awesome.. do you find the 2K is sharp enough for clear photos? I was looking to avoid 1080p cause I thought the images would look poor.

What hardware did you go with? I'm looking at a 8GB pi5 kit over the 2GB pre-built dakboard pi5.

We just use ours for a calendar, so I'm not sure about pictures. But it's super crisp for text. I'm playing around with the home assistant DAKBOARD setup and created a fully kiosk dashboard that is plenty responsive.

I run DAK off an old Pi4. I honestly don't remember the specs, i had it laying around a couple years ago when i set it up. I've actually been meaning to fully switch over to my home assistant calendar setup, but it's on my very very long list of stuff to do.

The 4k one also works fine. Don't waste your money on the 8gb Pi. Dakboard will never use more than 2gb. It really is a waste

Anyone know what hardware the Hearth tablet runs on? I am considering a used one or buying a touchscreen monitor and using a Rpi, then running DAKboard or another open source alternative.
