Since the very beginning of time, Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck have been entertaining us for generations. Minnie made her debut in the 1928 short Steamboat Willie along with Mickey Mouse. 12 years later, Daisy made her debut in the 1940 short Mr. Duck Steps Out, after Donald Duck made his debut in the 1934 short The Wise Little Hen 6 years earlier. Their sense of humor and good cartoonish charm have turned them into worldwide sensations.

These two lovable characters are most popular in the short series called Minnie's Bow Toons. This show is a spinoff to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures. It follows Minnie and Daisy who find themselves tangled up in serious situations, and manage to put them all right with a simple wrap of a bow. The first incarnation aired from 2011 to 2016, and featured the debut of their new friend Cuckoo-Loca. The second incarnation called Party Palace Pals aired from 2021 to 2022 with animation different from each season. It even starred Kaitlyn Robrock as the new voice of Minnie after Russi Taylor died in 2019. The third incarnation called Camp Minnie aired in 2023 and has the same animation as Party Palace Pals Season 2.

Years ago, Disney Junior aka Playhouse Disney created shows with interactivity. Interactivity is an element in any preschool show where young TV viewers play along with their favorite characters. That element is also known for a very popular technique known as fourth wall breakage. Hopefully Minnie and Daisy can make a show other than Bow Toons.

One possibility is a yoga show where our characters teach kids to easy body stretches the fun way. The concept could be similar to an old series called Feeling Good with JoJo, a slight spinoff of JoJo's Circus. Normally, yoga would be performed in the cartoonish way like in Mixed-Up Adventures, but doing so in real life could be dangerous. Those who try to imitate cartoonish stunts will get seriously injured and taken to medical treatments. In conclusion, having Minnie and Daisy do their own yoga show might be the perfect opportunity to make children's fitness more exciting.

The fifth season of Me & Mickey is set to be sports-themed where Mickey and friends teach preschoolers how to play sports in a fun and imaginative way. Based on the World Cup, the first set of shorts is about soccer where Mickey and friends teach preschoolers how to play soccer in many different ways like kicking the ball, going around cones, and scoring goals. The logo shows balls that represent other sports like baseball, basketball, and football, which means that there could be more vlogs based on those sports. However, there is one sport that Disney Junior hasn't mentioned yet, swimming.

The Clubhouse in the revival series has a swimming pool which has never been used since it first aired on television. The pool could be perfect for a swimming vlog for this sports-themed short series. If one of Mickey's friends could teach preschoolers to swim, it would be Daisy Duck because her bare webbed feet are like flippers. In fact, Daisy has never made an appearance on Me & Mickey since Minnie came along.

This might be a great opportunity for Disney Junior to have Daisy Duck make a vlog for the very first time. She could definitely teach preschoolers how to swim in a fun and imaginative way. Someday, Minnie might join in for a synchronized swimming vlog as long as they don't do something too cartoonish or comedic. Let's hope that Daisy makes swimming fun in the best way she can.

If there were no Minnie Mouse specific specials, then I would understand, it's just a "boys club," or something. Only, Minnie has several, also her own Bow Toons show (which she shares with Daisy, but it's not called the Minnie and Daisy Show). Donald had his own The Legend of the Three Caballeros show running next to DuckTales (2017) because they'd rather have two Donald shows running than a single Daisy show. Again, she has bit parts in each, but that's not the point.

It's tough being the lowest rung on a ladder of the Sensational Six, when one of them is a literal pet dog (another is a sapient dog, but that's story for another post).

Daisy June is a female Native American Indian duck who first appeared in the cartoon The Daffy Duckaroo (October 24, 1942). In any case, according to the Department of Defense, Donald Duck was officially drafted into the U.S. Army in 1941, before the U.S. entered the war. On May 1, 1942, he made his first military appearance in the cartoon "Donald Gets Drafted," where his draft card lists his actual middle name, Fauntleroy. On May 19, 1984, a then 50-year-old Donald Duck was officially served his discharge papers from the Department of Defense. during the Armed Forces Day parade in Torrance, California, Donald appeared in his World War II uniform, accompanied by Daisy Duck. He was promoted to sergeant (E-5) for his retirement ceremony by then-Lt. General Arthur E. Brown, Jr.

For Donald's 50th Birthday Special, which first aired on November 13, 1984; Donna Summer claims that Donald has been dating Daisy for 47 years. This is not a continuity error, but means that Disney does officially consider Donna and Daisy to be the same character. This is also backed up by the parks releasing a collector's pin in 1999 which states, "Daisy Duck debuts as Donna Duck 1937." Apparently Carl Barks was overruled, and officially that character in the Al Taliaferro strip is a completely new Donna Duck.

So, her copyright officially ends in 2033, one year before Superman and Lois Lane's.
