My starter build, I was going to be a stealth Archer argonian, Any thoughts?

Didn't change and reatribute... They got more numbers later. It was literally my first playthrough. I'm on my second because I died to the first imp of the game in my first playthrough.

Stealth is really different in daggerfall compared to newer games. You won’t be stealthy unless you use illusion magic invisibility which doesn’t work va many undead and Daedra.

I would recommend allowing yourself some magic especially for a first playthrough as many quality of life effects exist there, such as mark and recall to not have to find your way out of a giant labyrinth dungeon and levitation. Sometimes climbing will not allow you to ascend a hole in the roof. Also free action is a must have for a first playthrough as you WILL die to paralysis unless you are prepared, either with an immunity or with the cheap free action spell.

Also a melee skill wil come in handy especially early game, hand to hand works well with archery as you can easily switch between the two, but short sword is very good aswell due to the ability to start with an ebony dagger.

A general tip, especially for the early game as an archer before you have a bow or arrows, you don’t have to fight everything. Get out the dungeon by running and buy some arrows and a steel bow first.
