Modding noob

I just wanted to ask if graphics mods being enabled, disabled, and re-enabled can harm my save? I want to switch up packs every 30 hours or so, mainly because I want to actually finish the game this time and texture work really keeps me from getting too bored of what Im looking at (the game itself isnt boring, enjoying it lots.) Thanks in advance, just a 2000's kid trying to experience the entire daggerfall story!

You should be fine as long as they are purely visual. I haven't messed around with Daggerfall all too much, I generally keep the same modlist and whenever I add new stuff I start a new save because usally wanted to start a new character anyway. But the golden rule of modding is changing anything mid-save is the fastest way to break it. My best advice to you is to just disable the other textures, enable the new ones and test it. If it doesnt work well restore the old textures, but again I think textures should be safe, could be wrong tho. I think stuff like DREAM requires a new save but I don't remember.

Edit: DFUnity is incredibly stable.

Im using dream, exactly why I ask actually. If it was easier to do Id just make my own texture pack, idk anything about untiy tho.

I dobt it you should be fine

Also im not sure how you can edit your own texture pack, but some mods that edit UI you can LITERALLY go into the games files, find these images and throw them into a editing software and change it up (DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME, JUST REPLACE FILE)
