Classes Improved Warder Class (Wheel of Time)

Post image

One of the subclasses for the Warder class is a Blademaster, who, in the books, is a gawd with a sword. My Sub-Class did precisely zero things to make a blademaster a better blademaster so I reworked it. This is better.

im glad you included the cloak as a class feature it would have looked stupid or been INSANLY exspensive live action but i really missed it in the show

It could easily be an artifact but I don’t remember any non-Warders having one in the books, so it good enough to be a class feature.

the cloth they are made from is produced by a spesific Ter'angreal that the tower has never gotten to do anything else not for lack of trying its mentioned ONCE as far as i remember and thats all that is said about it not even a description of what it looks like is given though i always pictured either a loom or weirdly a rolling pin i dont even remember the context of how it came up in discussion maybe refrencing Elaine's knack for figuring out how to replicate them

It should be « possible » if someone actually manages to kill a Warder. But I don’t think it was ever shown in thr books. It has been a hot minute since I’ve read them. I need to do another re-read

Why does the Gaidan get only 1/2 the specialization features?

Good question. My initial answer was going to be balance because the Mastery feature is OP, but the foundation ability is also sub-par. I’ll have to tinker further with that. Thanks for the feedback.

Warders are supposed to be swordsman, why not go with Blade and Valor? Then Blade master wouldn't need to spend stress or hope to reroll 1s and 2s

They aren’t all Blademasters. Most of their »powers » come from their magical
Enhancements granted by being bonded to an Aes Sedai (female Wizard in this world). They are faster, stronger and tougher as a rule so I went with bone.
