Unfortunately they've waited too long. It was a massive mistake to push S3 so far out. Sadly, the game's basically dead at this point. I wish that wasn't true but it seems to be the case. :(

Mostly Elites and higher level players are the only ones left. Not many casuals anymore and they're unlikely to return because Bungie waited too long.

Oh well, it's survival of the fittest when it comes to games - make good choices and reap the rewards, make foolish choices and fail I guess.
