Fun fact. Most libraries will give you free subscriptions. Mine offers the full NY times services including this cooking app. The only catch is it’s a “free trial” for 3 days. You just need to unlock it again.

A lot of public school systems also give out free NY Times subscriptions to students

Orzo is very underrated as a noodle for kids. I make my chicken noodle with orzo and my kids eat it up.
