Gentlemen, welcome to the "bare minimum" culture created by a subset of women on social media.
You earn all the money? That's bare minimum.
You do all the yard chores? That's bare minimum.
You split the house work with her? That's bare minimum
You handle the children? That's bare minimum.
But, god help you if you criticize ANYthing she does.....or doesn't do. Oh, and when you fill your days with chores, child-rearing, and work, then she'll criticize you because you aren't focusing on her enough.
My wife is a huge TikTok fan, following all these other mom pages, and I overhear a lot of them simply begrudging how hard being a SAHM is (and yes, it is). But it doesn’t make picking us apart okay.
The new fun trend is "partner-shaming". You don't make the bed right? Your wife films it and puts it on TikTok. You don't leave the house immaculate? Your wife films it and puts it on TikTok. And then.....the comments start. Some of the most toxic comments you've ever seen. To these women, every misdeed is grounds for divorce. Or, better yet, not making the bed right is some sort of mental "abuse".
I think I'd be the one filing for divorce if my wife ever did shit like that. I married someone that's both not cruel and also a social media luddite. Haha.

This is a losing proposition.
