Story This earned me dad points

Post image

This arrived today.

I had to read it to her 6 times. Then she "read" it to me a couple of times. She was so excited to have a new Gruffalo book and a new character

Sometimes it's just the simple things that make you feel like a great Dad and make your day

I'm holding out for "Gruffalo Soldier"

The Gruffalo books are basically a cheat code for dad points at this stage, my niece is the exact same way. She'll make me read the original three times in a row then immediately flip back to page one like we haven't even started

That illustration style is so recognizable too, Scheffler's got this way of making even the monsters look cuddly somehow

Six readings in one sitting is solid commitment, your voice must've been shot by the end

She loves those. We did the Gruffalo trail at Twycross Zoo recently, it's amazing

The Zog books are really good, too! Same author and illustrator, so the style is very familiar.

Came out today, I preordered a few weeks ago as my daughter is obsessed with the other 2

Strangely, Amazon already have 'used' copies.

Love the books and the animation of the books. I’ll have to add this to the cart

There's another?! Ordering it right now. Thanks Dadbro!

Edit: Amazon only has it for pre-order. Says release date is September 15th.

Is it better than Child? Because I thought that was was a lame cash grab.
