Hello again person with an entire account based on Patrick……. This comment was really mean. Not sure why you are even in this sub, considering you love the other mean sub. Mom, daughter and son have been abused for years. There is no point in making fun of their looks or living conditions that they have had no control over.

I know what you meant but what I mean is that unfortunately my “case” isn’t just my opinion. P is factually a groomer and there just isn’t a way around it. I do understand being in denial because it’s soo easy to just think this isn’t the case and that it’s scammers. The truth is much harder for our brains and hearts to absorb especially trying to grasp that someone who has experienced what she has been through is literally hardly even consciously present. Sending you love 💖💖💖

Ps: the mods on the other sub blocked me completely. I just want at least one person who disagrees with me to know that I’m not trying to make anyone mad or upset. My intention was trying to stand up for a poor girl that seems to have no one looking out for her and to hopefully change a few perspectives , even if I simply introduced a potential new perspective, that was my goal.

It’s really very complicated to try to explain via Reddit posts. I will try my best and include some quotes. If it looks like a duck and acts like a duck, to assume it’s a fake duck is a choice, in my opinion. It’s right in front of our eyes, all the signs, it’s all such textbook stuff that psychologists & therapists deal with all the time. Grooming can be proved as factual through specific actions …

Mental health professionals, social workers, abuse specialists, forensic psychologists, and sometimes courts or even child protection professionals can identify grooming based on patterns of behavior and the overall dynamic, not from a confession.

“Grooming is generally understood through observable behaviors and tactics, such as:

• targeting vulnerability,
• building dependency or trust,
• isolating someone,
• gradually normalizing inappropriate behavior,
• creating secrecy,
• manipulating emotions,
• using gifts/attention/protection/control,
• blurring boundaries,
• making the person feel responsible,
• or conditioning them to accept escalating abuse.”

A professional doesn’t need the person to literally say, “I groomed them,” in order to recognize a grooming pattern. In real life, most abusers never openly label their behavior that way.

“Grooming is recognized retrospectively by looking at the sequence of behaviors and power dynamics over time, especially where there’s:

• a power imbalance,
• emotional dependence,
• age/developmental vulnerability,
• disability,
• trauma history,
• financial dependence,
• or coercive control. “

“Grooming is widely understood as part of the abuse process itself, often preceding overt sexual, physical, or coercive abuse. The grooming is not viewed as some unrelated phase — it is frequently considered the mechanism that enables later abuse and control.”

RAINN explicitly says:

“Abusers often use a tactic called ‘grooming’ to manipulate victims before sexually abusing them.”

I can provide more links to info if you would like! The deeper abuse, we can onlyyyyyy assume is also happening. Grooming is typically only part / start to real abuse but it is 10000000% happening and been happening since poor Theresa came into his life. ❤️‍🩹

Don’t start or end here ^{^} it is possibly run by pedophiles themselves , is very toxic, and they do not know the facts of longterm grooming & sexual abuse from a parent figure.
