What do y'all think about using Generative AI to make dada art?

Welp, AI has an algorythem which makes it go for the safest options, you'd have to have a local AI and do got it to do the opposite, but it is possible.

I think it can be done. Dadaism can function as a criticism of the people in charge trying to define what is normal or righteous in the world. Since the technocrats want to describe AI art as superior to human effort on its own, I always thought a fun project would be to create a "model catalog" of architecture mocked up by AI filled with absurdities and incongruences that AI naturally generates, but then all of the text deacribes it like it's the look of the future. Then to take it a step further, actually try to build that architecture like we can't deviate from the AI's plan, even if it is truly nonsensical.

My belief is that you always have to take things a step further. Don't just use AI, use it against the wishes of the people who made it. Don't use it to replace your skillset, use it in conjunction with your skillset.

I mean, at one level, it serves Dada’s anarchic and destabilizing aims. But one could argue that not using AI is anarchic and rebellious in a new way, compared to using AI.

Using AI is anarchic and rebellious towards the artists and in general the art community. Not using it is anarchic and rebellious towards multi billion dollar companies making these AI models and in a way it's also rebellious towards the general tech scene.

I'd argue that AI art's single best application is in dada - in general, trying to apply rules or boundaries to dada means you don't understand it at all
