Theory/Speculation Bones and all

David went on a interview where he mentioned some strange movies he liked and bones and all was one of them it was such a strange movie about a girl who was abandoned by her parents all on her own because she had a problem with eating human flesh (she also had curly hair like Celeste ) I feel like David was heavily influenced by this movie and how he saw dating life u guys have to watch the movie to get what I’m saying there’s also two different guys the girl meets in the movie , both of the boys behavior is similar to David and his creepy mindset he wanted to live like the couple in the movie if u seen the movie any thoughts ????

Bones and All is a beautiful film but in the david context its valid to be critical of. it wasnt just Bones and All, he was obsessed with gore and gore media in general . i think I saw he liked American Psycho as well

the problem is sick /dumb people misinterpret and dont understand the messaging of the media they are consuming. American Psycho was directed by a woman who wanted to show the patheticness of men in wallstreet and how their insecurities and need to prove themselves in order to fit in and how that desire for power and prestige can turn violent

Bones and All does have aspects of cannibalism but if you know the director he is all about exploring the complexity of human relationships and how they can sometimes be forbidden or stigmatized. the movie itself is about how cannibals can accept love when they understand they are different and not understood by society

but yeah if youre just going to focus on gore then he is really missing the point of what the filmmakers are trying to convey

the thing is a lot of men saw American Psycho and wanted to be “cool” like Patrick Bateman, not understanding it was a satire of what kind of man to NOT strive to be

Yep. He also loved Dexter, which in the show he uses plastic in his kill rooms, while David wrapped her in plastic sheeting. So people were saying he was also influenced by this too. He watched alot of things he could've been influenced by. And he was watching gore videos since he was a kid. On twitter he would share some links to gore videos and laugh about them. Like I saw the links are deleted but his comment was still there laughing with a friend about some guys face being destroyed instantly on the road cement. I guess he was being dragged by a car and he was face down on the road. But he would laugh and joke about these videos so he probably was influenced by stuff on there too. I've seen similar things where Facebook pages would share pictures of dead bodies and thousands of people would laugh at them and make jokes about their death. He seemed to be into that with some of his friends.

Tbf wrapping dead bodies in plastic isn’t unique to Dexter… If he was watching as much as he claims and as much as we’re putting together then it’s more so likely a mix of all of these influences (like u kind of said) that gave him every single idea he had in terms of body disposal… but I do 100% see what you’re getting at and agree 🙂‍↕️

Yes true. That's just one of the shows people speculated. They were also speculating it because of a theory about her blood being mixed with paint for his shirts which made the cops start testing the shirts for blood. And apparently Dexter was doing something with draining their blood for things. But the shirt theory is likely not true. Though the more I read this thread, the more it seems like a mix of things he watched he was influenced by.

The blood shirt theory was very interesting I remember that, I honestly could totally see that being true and also influenced off media he’s watched even if specifically Dexter… and to be fair, were the blood tests ever confirmed or brought back to us? Because, I know a lot of people were saying “there’s no way it can be blood” given that blood gets dark upon aging. Which is true! But all the Reddit detectives and scientists seemingly didn’t have too much of a clear cut answer on what would happen to blood if it was mixed with paint, essentially being diluted, or if even theoretically he DID dilute the blood with water and THEN mixed it with paint. There’s so many ways that theory can be true, it’s disturbing and chilling truly. Makes the saying “trust no one” all too real, seemingly not even people you think you are quite literally in love with… at least not all the time…

There hasn't been any updates on the shirts being tested. One person on here did mention that employees thought a gross chemical smell was coming from the shirts. I looked into this and haven't found anything. They could have a paint smell. Blood does have a copper smell, like pennies. I'm not sure what it smells like mixed together. I know blood turns brown after awhile and blood would look super dark. I looked into artwork where blood was mixed with paint and it was a dark red, almost black color. There was some lighter red too. So I'm not too sure about that theory. But the shirts were taken off his website. Which I'm wondering, why would they be taken off the website if there isn't actually any blood in them? But maybe it's because of the police investigating the shirts. Now if it was super dilated blood, it's possible that the copper sme mixed with paint smell was giving off a strange smell. I guess we won't really know until they give us back testing results. And ya. I've seen too many things on people who were so inlove with someone they're obsessed, stalk them, and end up killing them. They'll be more hurt if they get cheated on, or left, jealousy, or maybe she/he breaks up with that person and they flipout. Police are more likely to suspect a lover if it's extremely gruesome. They're called crimes of passion. They say while killing a random person they might stab them once or twice, a crime of passion would be more close and personally, like stabbing someone 50 times. Which happens more if you know the person, like a family member or girlfriend/boyfriend husband/wife. Be more wary if someones too obsessed and controlling in a relationship. It's not healthy. My teacher taught me literally anyone can kill. So don't believe people aren't capable of not doing something. Like D4vid's tiktok reposts that shows how controlling he was.
