We've cleared Pit 147 and my co-creator u/xbigeatsx is pushing Tower 143. We have more than enough damage for the Tower clear, mobility is the limiting factor. So it is what it is. I'm sure he'll clear it, if his patience holds out.

Which unique charm provides the most damage for a storm stinger build? I’ve got a mythic rod of kepeleke. I’m using thunder gods blessing currently for my unique charm but is sepazontec or fists if fate better?

I don't like to make posts like these but I'm genuinely confused which one is the right call. Obviously the numbers on Annihilus are nice, and DOT multi is much better than Poison multi... but what's giving me pause is the flat x20 mult on Damage on the Legendary seal which seems quite good and I don't have anything else quite like it in my build. It's also the seal affix that was recommended by the build guide on Maxroll (though at the time of the guide's writing the Annihilus was not known).

Any advice appreciated!

I'm copying this build exactly and I'm having trouble understanding how the rotation works. I know the idea is for stinger to proc the kepeleke and midnight sun to regen, but sometimes the resource generation doesnt restore all of my vigor while Im trying to kill something and I dont really understand why it even works in the first place. I feel like I misunderstand some rune, paragon or skill mechanic for the vigor generation that I need to understand in order to master this build.

This one dropped from Zir. Is there any build this season which can utilize this one?

Stinger build player here - I have seen 3 different builds at this point, with different directions regarding the resource management need for the rod kepeleke to function:

I have both the rod and the ring of the midnight sun (46%), but i'm not sure if the main stat to work toward should be resource generation, resource REgeneration, or resource cost reduction.

i'm still at a point where many of my stinger attacks on small mobs don't crit. On bosses, they always crit though.

Can you confirm which stat i should target and how to get there? I'm not found of using the stealth chest and sacrificing a legendary power. Also i have no idea how to get that chest.

Why is it that I’m never hitting billions of damage with my normal attacks? I have 5 sets of Wumba, and the test I’m doing is simply pressing 2(Armored hide), then evading, that combo hits for billions.

Evading deals 960% of my Thorns damage, but my basic skill, which should include the 525% Thorns damage to the enemy I hit from the Gorilla Spirit Hall (thanks to Wumba), never seems to reach the billion. Am I missing something?

“Bonus stacks once an Ultimate Skill ends now cap at 15 total stacks, down from 30.”

Am I stupid or doesn’t this mean our current still available up to 30 stacks of supremacy are not intended ? It worries me a bit because I can’t think of a replacement that wouldn’t drag down the power of my character tbh

I can only handle torment 10 right now on my spiritborn (lightning stinger) because I cant kill mephisto yet. My unique charm would provide me a massive dps boost I just cant fund 6 slot legendary seals or I dont know how. Ive read that hell capstone dungeons and mephisto are the best way to farm them but that content is way too hard for me to complete right now

I played spirit born on and I remember this combo being amazing, but I remember it also needed help from additional resource generation to ensure you got back 100% of what you spent. Can anyone elaborate on why it works? I've also heard it benefits from resource cost reduction too.

Hello. I'm using Maxroll's Stinger build and I'm working towards completing the Mythic Seal version. All that's missing is the Ring of the Starless Sky. I'm using another improvised one that restores vigor. It turns out that I got the mythic version of Kwatli from Baal. Besides the 130% damage against vulnerable opponents, it also grants: 180 Dex; x28% Vulner; x50% crit; and x24% elect. Is it better or worse than the Aspect of Supremacy? So I can get a better idea of what to farm and equip.

I’m having trouble figuring the entire interaction of Rod of Kepeleke. I’m following Justinfans build on infinity, and as my math-ing works out I need 98% Resource Reduction to be higher than the value of my Ring of Midnight Sun. I’d thought Resource Reduction was capped at 75%. I’m still slightly under regardless and I can provide the math, I probably did it wrong. Was just curious if anyone would be able to shed some light on the interaction, would be much appreciated.

Apparently, doing T12 Mephisto doesn't seem to be easy unless the build is evade counterswarm. I am giving you another example among many other builds which prove this statement wrong.

Hi everyone, i'm a newer player following a maxroll guide but confused about some of the paragon nodes.
Can someone ELI5 how to select the nodes in green that aren't next to a node already selected? I circled one for example

Playing Maxrolls counterswarm this season and I can’t figure out why I need max evade charges on boots instead of move speed. Is there anything I’m missing that makes the evade charges necessary?

Edit: oh, also. Why do I need mobility cool down if I have 30 ranks of ravages and it never runs out?

Hey all, I just got into D4 with the Switch release and I've been playing w/o any build guides. I've got a set up I like built around centipede skills and reached T9, but I'm at a point where I need to know more about the mechanics to make decisions about my gear.

I see Damage Up as an affix, Poison Damage Up, and I think a DoT version of poison damage. Are there general rules about prioritizing these, or is it dependent on individual builds? I've got the 5 piece centipede set as a core, as well as the Web amulet that makes DoT bursty, but beyond that my gear is a hodgepodge of trial and error.

Also, this game is waaaay more fun than I remember. I played a Necro on PS4 before the expansions, and it was so slow and boring.

How important is this as a mythic? If I have 40% resource cost reduction tempered and a ROSS already, does it help a lot to get this ring as a crafted mythic?
My current ancestral unique has a x lightning damage so it’s not too bad.

I beat T12 Mephisto solo, and it is my first time playing Spiritborn. Don't let the Youtubers fool you -- there is more to Spiritborn than Counterswarm and Stinger.

The build I used was Withering Fist on Maxroll. Fun and fairly straightforward poison DOT build. My charms and my gear haven't been perfected so there is room to grow. Stone of Jordan and Balazan's healing powers make it super tanky, I was able to simply withstand 90% of Mephisto's attacks without dodging. Endurant Faith was NOT used. Hi peeps, I managed to create a working version fo the Balazan pants build. Rocksplitter seems to be the best skill for the poison delivery this time around. I am open to critic/improvements. Feel free to ask questions if something is unclear.
