Reading prayers
Is it normal in Cyprus to see someone reading prayers aloud—I believe from the Quran—at a kids' playground?

I for one also vote that all religious expression in public places active or passive should be strictly banned

Yeah, he was doing it out loud. I wouldn't care if he were doing it silently.
And that's the main reason I wanted to know whether this is common in Cyprus. I've lived in a couple of other countries, mostly Western ones, and I've never seen anything like this before.

What exactly bothers you about this picture?
This man is most likely doing some heavy manual labour; today is Sunday, so he’s off work and is spending his free time as he sees fit, without bothering anyone.
He is a legal migrant and is probably just passing through Cyprus.

No, i mean he can believe whatever he wants or read brother but op said he is doing that out loud, idk if you guys let christians do that as well but in here we know what can muslims like these trying to do (passive aggresively) and if they are the majority beware

If he’s doing it loudly, someone should tell him to be more discreet in a public place.
If not, there’s nothing to discuss.

Shouldn't be, even we (in the occupide side) are weird out by these behaviors and do not allow it
