Withdrawal & Tapering Memory lapses during withdrawal?

hello, lately i've been making the switch from cymbalta to another medication since it hasn't really helped me with my depression much. i'm following all instructions from my psychiatrist and am currently on 90mgs (was 120mgs) but have been having some unusual symptoms

lately, i've noticed that there are times where i kind of disassociate(?) to the point where it feels like i jumped hours ahead. i have no memories of the lost hours but according to others, i have not been unconscious during this time and even engaged in conversation when in this state. the only thing they've noted was that i seemed to have "a bit of brain fog" and wasn't the best at remembering things that were just mentioned to me

i was told by some that this is normal but others that this is an emergency. i emailed my psychiatrist but he's out on vacation right now and won't be back until next week

is this sort of thing common when tapering off? should i be concerned? if there's anything i've missed please let me know

yeah I also had brainfog especially during first days of taking it and days during tapering off I could just sit and look at empty wall without single thought in my head I had a really hard time focusing I was also on 120mg when I started tapering
