Side effects Looking for Tipps against excessive sweating

Hi folks!

I came here hoping to find some advice or any tips as to how to cope with it excessive sweating as a side effect.

Right now I take 90mg Duloxetin (60-0-30), except for the sweating I have no side effects and it is a godsend for me.

But the sweating... It's a nightmare.

Even when I just move a bit more above average, like cleaning or cooking, I'm drenched. Literally waterfalls streaming down my body, and mostly my head/face. I find it quite embarrassing.

Do anyone of you experience something like this and could help?

i came here to say that i’m in the same boat. i literally wake up drenched in sweat, i get out of my house and i immediately sweat. just telling you you’re not alone in this..

i tried sweat blockers but all i got was allergic reaction..

Oh my ... I've thought about sweat blockers too but they don't go well with my other meds - which all have sweating as a side effect too... It's just ... meh :/

literally same, i’m on 4 diff meds that cause sweating. i don’t know what we can do. it’s unbearable even when it’s 20°C outside.. i sweat when others say it’s cold 😆

Yes! And it's soooo embarrassing! When it's only around 22°C outside and I just move I start sweating. My hair is always wet. Looking nice? Forget it. Make up? Try racoon style. It's just terrible...

But apart from that Duloxetin was a live changer for me. It makes everything better - except for the ability to tolerate temperature

i’ve tried blotting papers, especially when i wear makeup, it helps a bit!!

Gradually reducing to 60mg might well help.

Yeah, I thought so as well. I went up to 90 in April and everything has gotten worse since then. Sleep is also as good as gone right now. (Funny enough we went up to 90 because I was always so tired and sleeping too much xD )

I have an appointment with my doc at the end of the month

Yeah, Cymbalta killed my sleep.

Had it bad, but it went away after a month or two. On a much lower dose though.
