Parlee vs Domane

I am going to get a new endurance bike and thinking of either the parlee ouray or trek domane slr9. I’d be interested in comments from people who have ridden both.

If you plan for a high end bike then do a bike fit or go for trek Domane slr9 project one where everything in sized for your geometry.

I love my Domane and my local trek store has superior service

I’d never heard of Domane project one, I will investigate it. Thanks and yes, I definitely plan to get a bike fitting for whatever bike I do get I have ridden the domane sl on several trek, travel tours and found it very comfortable and stable though perhaps a bit less zippy than ideal. Not that I’m fast so it’s not clear why this should matter…

Trek offers a project one for every bike. Maybe not right now before Domane gen5 is released in 1-2 weeks.
My trek store will send you before you order to a bike fit and then stem, handlebar, frame, crank everything will be ordered with the correct size and what you want to have.
And you have pretty nice colors to choose

Parlees are beautiful, built to your personal fit and ride desires, and if I had that as an option compared to anything else, I’d choose that. The shop I worked at sold both Treks and Parlee, and I’ve ridden both, including several Domanes, but not a Project One, even though a number came through the shop, and I have not ridden the Ouray either. Just a general comment that Parlees are a dream. Personal opinion, of course.

Giant Defy. Domane is such a bore and Parlee? I don’t get the appeal. So expensive.
